Taraweeh and Qiyam al-Layl: Taraweeh prayers run nightly throughout Ramadan. During the last 10 days, many pilgrims remain in the mosque from Isha through to Fajr.

The Umrah Permit and the Prayer Permit are different. Each person receives one Umrah Permit for the entire month — a second Umrah is not permitted. A separate Prayer Permit for the Two Holy Mosques has been reported as not required during the last 10 days, but this is announced season by season. The relaxation of the Prayer Permit does not mean a second Umrah is permitted.
